The 7th graders finished sightreading Chalumeau today. Tomorrow they have a playing test over line 171 (Concert Ab Major Scale). They will also be sightreading another piece called Ghosts in the Graveyard. They are getting better at tuning each day.
The 8th graders finished memorizing their last song for the marching show. They have a playing test over all four songs for tomorrow’s playing test.
The 6th grade band reviewed the two new notes and corresponding lines out of the book. They are working on a new line for the concert called Sakura, Sakura. Students who had followed the band contract the first half of the quarter earned “Cool Cards.” They will be eligible to represent the band in Student Council. Tomorrow we will have elections.
