The 6th grade band learned some new notes today and got a new song called “Dragon Slayer.” The band will play the song, which uses the new notes, at the band concert in October. The 7th graders are working hard preparing their songs for the concert. They also are working on new lines out of the book and have a playing test of line 167 (Concert F Major Scale) on Friday. The 8th grade band continues working on drill for their pregame show. The first song is finished and they have learned the first set in the the second song, “Rawhide.”
