Ignore the gap in the video around 0:17. YouTube noticed some music playing at that point and marked the video as a copyright violation. In order for you to see the video, I had to cut out the chunk of video that contained the music. If you’re curious, I’ve include the information from the “On this day…” slide below and included a link to the YouTube video with the music.

On this day in music… 1935 – Sam Lay was born. He was a drummer and vocalist who worked with Bo Diddley (among others), and most notably, Bob Dylan. Check out Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited album, especially the opening song, ‘Like a Rolling Stone.’
